2004 – The Smiths

Cântecul trupei The Smiths „I Know It’s Over” a ocupat primul loc într-un sondaj privind melodiile pe care oamenii le ascultă atunci când sunt triști, în cadrul sondajului „The Songs That Saved Your Life” realizat de postul de radio BBC 6 Music. „Everybody Hurts” de la REM și „Fake Plastic Trees” de la Radiohead au fost și ele în top 10.
